Scope and responsible organisation

This policy covers Roslyn Twelve Views, an offline information guide prepared for Abbeyfield Palmerston North Incorporated. It explains the app's actual data behaviour; it does not govern separate Abbeyfield websites, telephone systems or house records.

Purpose of the app

The app presents public house information, reflective visit prompts, illustrative scenes, source notes and privacy information. It is not a tenancy application, vacancy service, booking system, care assessment, emergency channel or monitored communication service.

Personal data collected

The app does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, identity document, payment information, health information, precise location, contacts, photos, audio or advertising identifier.

Data the app does not collect

There is no account, sign-in, form submission, messaging, user profile, resident directory, camera capture, microphone recording, location tracking, behavioural analytics or remote crash-reporting service.

Local question selections

If you select fixed questions in the Question Contact Sheet, the app stores only those selection keys in its private local preferences. The selections are not transmitted. Clear them with Reset all, Android's Clear storage control, or by uninstalling the app.

Permissions

The app requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, telephone, notification, storage, Bluetooth or advertising permission. Android may show system-generated permissions used internally by the operating system; the app does not use them to collect data.

Network and external services

The installed app is designed to work without a network connection and has no Internet permission. Source URLs and the public telephone number are displayed as reference text only; the app does not open them, place calls or send messages.

Accounts and authentication

No account is created and no identity is authenticated. The app does not connect to Abbeyfield membership, resident, volunteer, donor, applicant or staff systems.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no advertising, ad SDK, analytics SDK, tracking pixel, attribution service, engagement measurement or personalised recommendation system.

Third-party code

The release uses Android platform components and local application code. It includes no third-party runtime SDK for ads, analytics, social networking, maps, payments, cloud storage or artificial intelligence.

Children and young people

The guide is written for adults considering or discussing older-person housing. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. A young visitor should use it with an appropriate adult where needed.

Health, safety and emergencies

The app does not collect health data, diagnose conditions, assess mobility, provide clinical advice or monitor safety. For immediate danger in New Zealand call 111. For medical, legal, financial or housing decisions, use appropriately qualified and current sources.

Sharing, sale and disclosure

Because the app does not transmit personal data, it does not sell, rent or share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers or the organisation. Information you separately give to another person or service is outside this app.

Retention and deletion

Local question selections remain on the device until you reset them, clear app storage or uninstall. The app operator receives no copy and therefore cannot retrieve, export or delete those local selections remotely.

Security

The app minimises risk by collecting no account data, requesting no sensitive permissions, disabling backup and device transfer for preferences, and making no network connection. No software can guarantee absolute security; keep your device and operating system protected.

Your choices and rights

You may use the guide without selecting any question. You can review or reset local selections at any time. For privacy questions about separate organisation activities, contact the organisation directly because those activities have their own records and processes.

Policy updates

If app functions or data practices materially change, the policy and Play disclosures must be updated before that version is distributed. The effective date and version appear below. A static delivery package is not proof that a public policy page is live.

Contact

Privacy questions about this app may be sent by post to Abbeyfield Palmerston North Incorporated, 115 Vogel St, Palmerston North 4414, New Zealand, or raised by phone on 06 355 4938. Do not use the app for emergencies or send sensitive information through an unverified channel.
